Coated boxboard producers want smooth, streak free surface with lowest possible cost, maintaining good runnability and overall efficiency.
Recycled based containerboard machines, making their products from continuously deteriorating raw materials, need starch to fulfill their strength targets, especially when moving towards lighter weight boards. Surface starch quality and proper application plays important role on this.
