Palm Group has selected BTG’s dataPARC™ data historian, analytics, and visualization software to support operations excellence for their five paper mill sites across Europe. dataPARC spans all unit operations in the mills, including recycled paper and board machines, de-ink plants, stock preparation, effluent treatment, waste paper separation plant, and CHP (Combined Heat & Power) plants.
dataPARC allows Palm Group to improve decision-making and troubleshooting capabilities with real-time data analytical and visualization tools. Paper industry specific applications like live Performance Scorecards, process centerlining, grade run filtering, SPC/SQC, control loop performance monitoring, and quality prediction based on advanced multi-variate statistical models, all provide a flexible and intuitive platform for both historical and real-time analysis. These practical and innovative software solutions build the basis for information sharing across all sites, promote continuous improvement, and will increase and sustain overall equipment effectiveness, while focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability.
In Germany, dataPARC is registered with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, as a software application to support ISO 50001, the international standard for Energy Management Systems (EnMS).
